28 years ago, I became a mother for the first time with our son, In those quiet, tender moments, I learnt what truly mattered – comfort, practicality, and the gentle touch of a mother’s love.

In 1999, our second child, our daughter was born, and here I refined the Gromitz bib design with love, laughter, and a nickname close to my heart.

For her first few years, our daughter was our “Little Gromit.” Feeding her was a messy nightmare, food seemed to go everywhere, and I needed a simple and an affordable solution.

I had a bundle of soft cloth nappies, gentle on her delicate skin…. asking my own Mum if she could sew my idea into life. I welcomed the Gromitz 1999 Bib – a creation woven with family, resourcefulness, and care.

Now…decades later, with the arrival of our first grandson, I have brought this timeless design back to life. Each bib is crafted with the same deep love, care and knowledge that I gave to our own children – created from the practical wisdom of motherhood and the nurturing instinct to protect and comfort.
